About XFai and it’s DEX Liquidity Oracle
XFai develops tooling by graphing the DeFi space to build game changing products to benefit all stakeholders in the DeFi space.
Large cap tokens are greatly advantaged through DeFi, this is because they can be used to generate yield due to all major lending protocols supporting them. This creates a gap between large cap and mid cap tokens, that have no such financial utility. XFai seeks to solve this issue by creating single-asset liquidity pools that leverage staked assets via the DEX Liquidity Oracle (DLO) to generate fees/profits for any token, no matter the cap.
The XFai DLO leverages these single-asset staking pools by dynamically providing liquidity to DEXes while synchronizing with current CEX liquidity through the DLO. Our ‘synthetic curve’ method uses CEX liquidity as a “liquidity target” that the DLO then uses to achieve minimal slippage. This will in turn make DEX trading for these tokens more attractive, thus generating DEX volume, which finally yields fees for the DLO acting as a prime liquidity provider for this token.
By helping move liquidity that is “trapped” on centralized exchanges on-chain, the DLO unlocks these tokens for further utility in DeFi. Other DeFi protocols such as Maker or Aave can then gather more reliable information and price feeds on these tokens. This creates a positive effect as it opens up even more DeFi related use cases for DLO-supported tokens, resulting in growing DEX volume. This ultimately benefits the DLO as a liquidity provider, and in turn, the DLO single-asset staking pools. Fees generated by the DLO are paid out to stakers, effectively allowing XFai to generate single-asset staking rewards for any token.
